PROCEDURE

Step 1

The foreign carriers/forwarders take the goods from the exporter’s warehouse and transport them to the port of shipment.

Step 2

The carriers/forwarders do customs declaration, clear the goods, and obtain the certificate of origin.

Step 3

The carriers/forwarders book the shipment for sea transport. Customers will be notified and confirmed about the shipping schedule by the carriers/forwarders so that the shipping time is closest to the readiness date and under the financial and time requirements of the customer.

Step 4

The shippers issue the bill of lading (B/L) to make a certificate of goods ownership. Issue telex release. The shippers will issue the customer a bill of lading, usually consisting of 3 originals and 3 copies as proof of ownership of the goods.

Step 5

When the goods arrive at the Port of delivery, the shipper does customs clearance and cargo inspection if any.

Step 6

Inland shipping company transports the consignment from the port of discharge and warehouse of the importer.

Step 7

The forwarder will go to the port of discharge or the shipper agent to pay the documentation, container freight station fee (CFS), and delivery order fee to receive the delivery order (D/O). Then the forwarder will bring the D/O, Commercial Invoice and Packing list to the port office to sign the D/O and locate the consignment, a copy of the D/O must be saved from here.
